May 8-10, 2023

Pippa is back!! She will be teaching May 8-10 at Kim Roe’s Blue Gate Farm in Deming.

Pippa Callanan is passionate about Philippe Karl and Nuno Oliveira’s understanding of French classical equitation. This means that her approach has a deep respect for the nature of the horse, with methods based on clear principles and unwavering ethics.

Her teaching style aims to promote autonomous, thoughtful riders who have a deeper sense of trust and connection with their horses, no matter what breed, level or background. For her, the essence is to become a student of the horse, which means to strive to understand the causes of any difficulty by listening and taking seriously the word of the horse. This demands humility, sensitivity and discipline that becomes a way of life.

More information about Pippa is available on her website https://www.pippacallanan.com/

Auditing is welcome and current WCDEA members get a discount. A few rider spots are available too. Please email deirdra.d@gmail.com for more information or if you would like to attend.
