WHATCOM COUNTY
DRESSAGE & EVENTING ASSOCIATION
(WCDEA) is a not for profit group founded in 1984 for the promotion and
education of dressage and eventing for enthusiasts in Whatcom County and
surrounding areas.
We typically meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm. Location,
topics, and times may vary. Please check the newsletter or contact
info@wcdea.org for more information.
Throughout the year, we host at least three low key dressage schooling shows
from Spring to Fall as well as a variety of eventing clinics, camps and shows.

WCDEA also supports the development of Sunset Farm Equestrian Center (a
Whatcom County Parks Dept. facility) with the Friends of Sunset Farm, near
Birch Bay. Our club has raised money for and helped make improvements at
this park facility. The park has an all-weather sand arena built for dressage &
stadium jumping, a cross country jumping course, and trails through the woods.

Our most important goal is to HAVE FUN while we learn to improve our
equestrian skills. Our members range in age from pre-teens to senior citizens.
